Default anyone know a carpet guy?

while I had decent success with empire at my dads place for a cheap install, well it wasn't that cheap, I want to have a part of my basement carpeted that I am finishing. Would certainly prefer something a bit nicer than what I did there. Anyone know a guy or had particular success with anybody in particular. room is around 12' 8" x ~41' long.

I went to Carpet King in St Louis Park. I have bought carpet from them 3 different times now and have always had great experiences.

They are constantly circulating their inventory, so you can get clearance deals on high quality carpet. You just have to look at those options knowing your choices of colors and styles is limited. All 3 times I went there, I bought from these closeout deals. I bought $5 per square foot carpet for $3 per square foot, installed.

Other Carpet King locations may offer up these deals as well.

The one downside to your room is they sell carpet in 12' and 14' widths. You will have to buy the 14' roll and pay for the extra sqft.

I just had wood floors and carpet installed a couple weeks ago.

We used Costco. Yes. Costco. They contract withe CAP Flooring, which is a large carpet/flooring outfit. You get 10% back in a Costco gift card, and the whole experience was superb. If you have a membership, I highly recommend it.
