Default 1996 Black GTI mk4 Neuspeed Supercharged 139K miles 5sp

1996 BLACK GTI W/MK4 NEUSPEED SUPERCHARGER

Runs and drives. Was used as a DD for me.
139k miles(purchased 10/2012 with 124k), it will now be stored in a semi warm garage till she sells.
Most of the maintenance has been completed under my care(oil changes every 3k/3months)
    Woman Driven

I have brought this vehicle into better running shape than when I bought it(good for you, bad for my pockets )

    List of repairs(good)all performed by VW certified mechanics;
(All parts were new VW oem parts(minus the spark plugs and wires))
    Spark plugs
    Spark plug wires
    Timing belt and tensioner
    Power steering belt
    Both front axle seals
    New clutch/rebuilt transmission
    Rear Main Oil seal
    Distributor cap/Rotor
    Passenger front Ball joint
    Driver outer CV boot
    E-brake Cables
    Front main sealx2(crankshaft)
Crankshaft gasket plus 1 other ring gasket
Rear passenger and driver motor mounts
    Used/new throttle body
Pass front park lamp socket and bulb

    Add-ons;
    Mk4 2.0 neuspeed supercharger
    H&R springs
Custom intake that is temporary, never recieved the full intake like I was supposed to w/the SC.
Front racing seats, Party seats in the back.
BFI stage 1 front motor mount(have the other 2 mounts to send with the vehicle, as it was too much vibration for me to have all 3)

    TLC;
-Intermittently it will have a slight loss in power upon acceleration, VW mechanic replaced the throttle body and it improved, he then suggested
    to replace the purge valve.
-There is some rusting on the typical spots minus the spare tire area(last I checked that was clean) Not real bad like most of them
was going to repair them but do not have the time anymore.
-Needs a front wheel alignment(was going to do this when I bought new winter tires)
    -Needs Brake flush
-There is a mysterious clunk noise heard intermittently when turning all the way left or right at parking lot speeds/slow.
I had a VW mechanic or 2 look into it, they havent heard it and said everything looked solid underneath.

It is currently on my winter wheel setup(pictured) and tires are 6 years old and will need 4 new snow tires.
I do have summer wheels I can sell with the car with 6-7/32nds and they are on ATS cup wheels.

$4200 with the 15" ATS CUP wheels
$3500 without The 15" ATS CUP wheels
    Sorry no trades

Welcome to EW. You might want to head over to the new member section and introduce yourself.

Also, pictures are required by our classified rules. If there are no pictures in a reasonable amount of time, I will remove the posting.

forgot to mention that there is a stage 1 BFI motor mount on the front, had all 3 installed but there was too much vibration for me so I stuck 2 brand new factory motor mounts in the back.

    Still have the other mounts.

As someone who joined this forum just to sell a VW, I hope you stay.
I've seen too many people waste time and add themselves to this forum with the sole intention of selling a car and never returning.
After failing to sell my car here, I got to know some cool guys, and came to realize that this is a great place to be.

    My suggestion for you: Craigslist.

    GLWS and welcome to EW.

Edit: this was my 1k post. Cheers everyone.

Hey thanks! I actually have been lurking since I bought the car to see if anyone had mk4 blue r32's for sale, no such luck. I finally joined a few weeks ago when someone on here was selling their 1552 18" snowflakes and it took a few weeks till I was accepted as a member, and just recently I purchased a new vehicle and no longer need the GTI

I do enjoy the scene however!

if people dont know the visual differences between a vr6 and a 2.0 they would not know what engine is in the car.
mk3's are know for strut tower rust. examine the seem where the strut tower cup is welded and seem sealed to the unibody. look from inside the wheel well and from the engine bay. pics of those area would be great.

@oneunder Thank you, I really liked the supercharger! Especially when the stock 2.0 was slow. Wish I could keep it but I have moved onto a different fun car

@casper- it is possible? from my understanding a female owned this before it was purchased from a friend of my bfs, and I eventually purchased it from him.

@digital k- I know there has been a few people who have wanted this supercharger but unfortunately it will not be parted due to time and money it will take to revert it back to stock.

According to your mod list, seems like a simple unbolt charger-bolt on stock intake manifold, situation....
Unless you have a bigger fuel pump, injectors, and software that you forgot to mention...

It has a bigger upgraded pulley system and also chipped.

A pullly upgrade is just on the charger, and is actually smaller, not bigger. And those are press in chips IIRC. But ok.
