    Default Jeep/Trukwerks

So I had to copy TTAM, and get a Wrangler Unlimited:

We picked it up yesterday. The color is called Commando Green, and it looks awesome.
    Option highlights:
    -3.73 rear end
    -limited slip
    -alpine stereo
    -the roof comes off

This thing will also be perfect for hauling bicycles, camping gear, and driving over things that displease me. We traded the E90 in, as it was not...how you say, aging gracefully.

    Future mods:
    -anti glare hood vynil
    -SNORKEL (maybe)
-Rear storage system for coolers, bike gear, and whatever else

I know there are a few others on here that have jeeps as well. Let's talk about them.

I'm planning a vacation in 2014 that's going to look an awful lot like this:

Love it. That's one of the best colors on the new Jeeps.

I would totally do the tent topper setup if it was just me and my wife.

Is the one with the new engine, Pentastar or something like that? Heard it's supposed to be much better.

Nice looking jeep! We picked up a 2010 jeep WK for my other half last summer, and i snagged some wrangler unlimited wheels off a 2012 yesterday. I plan on picking up a rough country spacer lift and some 1.5" wheel spacers this week, and will hopefully have time to get it done in the next couple weeks.

The current set up with stock wheels and 245/65/17s...

The wrangler wheels i picked up yesterday, with 255/75/17s with 4k miles on them...

This is the look im hoping to have achieved by next weekend.

I like that. It's subtle, but tough.

Jeep really should have done a package like that for the GC, like Chevy did with the Z71 Tahoe/Suburban.

I love my WK. Even with the fairly thirsty 4.7 in it. Hopefully in the future, I can sell the wagon, and then get Susan a car, so I can have the Jeep. The WJ that Susan had when we got married was pretty legit. Way more capable than the WK is off road. It was the last of the GCs to have a solid live axle in the front.

Good work Palmer, those are nice.

Nice one, Andy. When you do the vinyl you should put one of those white stars on the hood I miss our XJ. We practically need 7-passenger capacity these days and the Commander just doesn't do it for me. I do however want to own a Wide Track 2 door FSJ someday though.

Ya, it's a 2013 that has the 3.6 Pentastar. 280 hp, compared to the 200 of the old 3.8

That's going to look great. There are always super cheap wheels for sale, I'll probably grab a set eventually for some more aggressive tires. Still learning about offsets and wheel swapping between older/newer jeeps.

We had two XJ's and a ZJ (lol) when I was growing up. The Wrangler is the closest to the XJ of anything in the line.

That hill thing was pretty rad. Hopefully I get to do that this summer.

Ha, I'll keep that in mind.
