Default Where to go for window tint?

I did a search and didn't find any recent threads. I called Auto Visions last fall to make an appt to get my front windows done on my DD only to find that they wont do anything darker than 50%. They said that I could go to their shop in Hudson if I wanted darker. Is there anyone in the city that will go darker than 50%? Auto Visions said the state has really cracked down hard on tint shops, I have no idea if this is true or not...

I'm looking to just have my front windows done to match the rear windows which is probably right around 35% Any suggestions?

Mr Wilson Tint in Green Bay. If you're in the area. He's done three of mine and is the best I know. Best price too. Road trip!

Been told Sun Control on Rice. Few people gone there and liked it. Also known people who went to Ziebart in Maplewood and had a good experience. Ziebart usually is cheapest by a few bucks from what I have seen.

That is where I went, and in the summer they come to you. Super nice guy. Had an issue with a retint after getting a window replaced and he took care of me straight away. Good price. I think once a summer they do a deal with Imola for a good price.

If I get a cars windows tinted again, I will go to him without question.

Was just going to say tintpros. They are super awesome, and come to you. They have done 2 of my previous cars, and do a great job. you just sign a waiver if you go darker than 50%.

I would not recommend tintpros. They took the tint OFF of my car and did a hack job, scuffed up trim and left residue balls all over my car. They did not vacuum the car or clean the windows. All of this and I went to them! Wasn't cheap either and I was expecting a more professional job since I had a few recommendations. Also to get the rear tint off they must have placed a lot of pressure on my back dash with their tools which caused a squeak/rattle due to shifting a piece of trim under the dash cover.

I don't have any recommendations for local, but TNT tint in Madison, WI did an awesome job on my Monte Carlo. Also Hotspot Tint in Atlanta, GA was great for my e46. The local authority also thought they did a great job, so much infact they stopped me every time I drove by to tell me how awesome it looked!

Did you bring your issues up to them?

tintpros offers group discounts if you have a group of cars at the same place.

Also, I never heard of a tint shop vacuming and cleaning your car for you. They are tinting it, not detailing it. I must be missing something there. Should have told them if you had problems. I know they would have taken care of you if you reported problems to them.

We should try and set something up for spring/summer. Get like 10+ cars together and see how cheap we can get this. I would like tint but wont go under 50%.

    Tintpros already does this.

During the summer, normally around the time of the Imola BBQ, they offer a good discount on full car tint. I know that two years ago, they had to hire another technician to only cover the Imola discount promotion..I dont see why they would stop this promotion.
