Old sealed beam next to the new replaceable H4s. The trim rings cleaned up really nicely with some Mothers chrome polish.

Suspension cross member is out. There were only 4 of the 9 bolts/nuts holding it in place. Pretty much every nut and bolt on the control arms/leaf are finger tight.

I'm going to drop the front suspension cross member...
I removed the gas tank and I'm making plans to retrofit an in-tank pump. I'll be adding a sump in the middle with trap doors on the sides. There are a number of off the shelf kits, but they start at...
I also just ordered the 30mm long Jenvey itbs. That should give me enough room for trumpets and still be able to use a plenum. The header is right below the intake so I don't want to pull in warm...
I'm currently working out how to fit the new Summit universal heater box and how to route to the vents. The car currently has defrost and footwell vents fed by the air box and ones in the kick panels...
Necrobump. Update coming soon.
Because I remember pointless stuff like this, I'm 99% sure that you met Mahoney at Campwerks in 2011.

Doesn't the AEG manifold from a mk4 bolt right up and flow better?
The lathe can handle 12"x32". It should be no problem. The first thing I did with it was shave 1mm off some hubcentric rings for my Watanabes. I sent you a message on FB.
If you just want to wrap in tape, definitely get some Tesa tape. It's what VW, Audi, Mercedes, etc use from the factory. It's cheap on Amazon or eBay and looks good. It's cloth tape that sticks to...
Squeeee!!! I do not have a corgi, but I'd like to attend said meet. :D
Had I not just bought something else, I would've probably bought it. Too little space to pick up multiple projects.
Awesome! What are you using to wrap your harness? I've had very good luck with split loom Tech flex. It's relatively cheap on Amazon and I terminate the ends with Tesa tape. You get the good looks of...
Nice! This was just delivered today. It's Mitch's, not mine though.

And I installed a cheap, but decent quality quick change tool post on my lathe.

^ I have Bilsteins with H&R race springs in my 337 and I it's the best suspension I've had in the car. Better than any of the coilovers I've used too.
Is yours the rave green on fat fives?
Finally installing the steering rack, tie rods and PS pump in the Ranger that have been sitting on the shelf for months.
