Anyone have a set they'd part with? All the junkyard cars I've seen are missing them already. Apparently they come in a few colors - I'll take whatever you got.

how much are they at vw?

Too much to even comprehend, hence my search here. Had they been $2.85 like the ones for the mk2 rocco, I'd have a set already. They are $40/piece....for a damn piece of rubber! Gah.....

Do you have any idea on what the part number is?

First off... where are there MK4s at junkyards?!?!

Second off, the straps are not really rubber, aren't you talking about the ones that coil up?

I found some completed auctions for the coil-up ones on uk ebay for a relatively reasonable price, but could not find any current auctions.

To be honest, I have no idea what they look like. This is my first MKIV, I've only had it about 2 weeks. The straps were missing when I got the car. I'm assuming they're just a rubber strap like all previous generations. I got the part # somewhere.....will post it up when I find it.

And there were ~4 MKIVs, maybe a few more at Hans in Elk River. I didn't really bother looking for the ones I didn't see right away because a lot of the cars were pretty hard to get to.

I might have what you need... although they might have some kitty teeth marks.

Weird. Even worldimpex doesn't have it.

Here is a pic of the kitty damaged one...

The other is in good shape.

They are yours with a $25 donation to eurowerks. Let me know once you make the donation and PM me your address, I will send them your way.

Yep - that's what I need, but I guess I need just one. The right side top of the plastic piece of broken off, the left side is fine though. I'd imagine you'd want to sell them as a pair, but would you part with just one?
