I bought these a whiile back and I don't know if I am really going to use them or not. So far, not. So I would throw them out there to see if anyone is looking for a set. They have about 10k miles on them and are in good condition and come with adjusting wrench. $600 FIRM. Otherwise I am just going to end up putting them on in the summer probably.

What are you rolling with now?

H&R race springs and stock shocks, it has been on that since I built it. The reason I got the Koni's is I figured I would have to raise the rear once I got everything in place to offset the extra weight in back (wagon and speakers/amps).

Just keep em and lower it more than your springs in the summer! Otherwise, this is a great deal and someone should buy these...

It is already the height I want, the real reason for these was to change only the rear height once the extra weight was added. But now I am realizing that I am almost certainly not going to need to do that.

Yeah but how's the ride with the stock shocks and lowering springs?!

Very nice. I like it quite a bit. It is just a bit more responsive than a stock R32, which I was totally fine with.

just curious why how these would be different than mk4 coilovers. does the r32 have different rears? now that i'm writing this, that would make sense.

the rears of an r32 are independent aren't they?

yep, 100% different rear end. It isn't even close to being the same. The fronts are the same though. It is an independant rear on the R32.

The only way it would work in an 03 Jetta is if you did a complete R32 swap. ;) So, no, it won't work, sorry. The fronts would work, but the rear end is 100% different.

What's the normal ride height on these coils dropped all the way down? I'm definitely interested if they can get down to about 1/2" of tire/fender clearance with stock wheel/tire setup.

Hey, John. This is Josh. We went to dubs in the valley. I was in the grey mk 4 gti. I'm very interested. Lemme come look at them or come to west side if you want, and I'll most likely be unable to resist buying them.
