No way I like all the douchebags that come on here just to sell their crap. Rules are for sissies.

My comment wasn't a rip on you whiterob, is there a blackrob? Other than the guy who sang "like whoa"? It was a general knock on people who post on any forum just to sell things rather than bring part of the community.

You should look at the bronze 5zigen they have a small amount of dish they're the "gold" color, and come in 5x112 and 5x100

purchase your desired wheels and powder coat them gold. I happen to know a guy who does pc'ing.

Btw, I know a black bob and a white bob. They're both bob davis jr's.

Like Whoa!!! haha yeah I was givenn the nickname back when that song eas popular, and it just kinda stuck haha.

but thanks for advice. I will def check them out:beer:

and I agree it is annoying when people come just to sell stuff, and don't contribute to any of the discussion threads.

these were my main reason for wanting to go gold.. I absolutely love them, but as of right now I just want to keep my eyes open.

And I agree that I could just p-coat my desired wheels, as I use to powdercoat at Powdercoating Technologies in plymouth, and can get an ok deal there, but generally to have them sand blasted is about $40-50 then depending on the powder it can be around $75-100+ per wheel, and I think a gold would be kinda spendy.

If i do go the p-coating way I would go with the black gator. I was gonna have a set of long beaches done about 4 years ago, but ended up just going flat black. and selling them to MO who sold them to someone else, and I remember seeing them on someones car acouple years ago.
:humper: god I love all of our smilies haha

I could get it done a lot less expensive than that.

hey thanks for all your help guys. Ends up I might be selling the gti this weekend and will probably either be getting a 99 a4 or a 99 passat, so Rob looks like I might be interested in your wheels. (wierd, they would be going from Rob to Rob)
