View Full Version : WTB: 15" Rubber Hoops...aka tires

12-04-2008, 07:19 PM
Well I found some winter rims for my car but I still need tires. I've kinda exhausted my other sources for tires so I was hoping someone here has something kicking around the garage or shed or something. I'm just looking for some tires for a 15" rim that will fit on a lowered MK3 without eating the fenders.

They dont have to match, nor have a ton of tread left, just as long as they are relatively safe and the price is right.

Anyone? Anyone?

I've got my stock wheels and tires down in the basement I'm thinking of selling, the fronts are great but the backs are bald as hell. 5x100 15's.

I have a brand new set of 15" winter tires. I drove on them for maybe 100 miles or so. They are dunlops, look just like blizzaks. Let me know what you are looking for in terms of prices. They were over $500 for the set when I bought them.

Andy is right..baby lackner has it all wrong. No rubber-rusty nail. Its how i roll. HA!

Back on topic- Fernside, I was looking fore something on the cheaper end. I'm not looking for anything nice, just something thats kinda safe on my 15's I have, and not bald. So yea I'm guessing your tires are out of my price range.

By the looks of it I'll prolly end up running to one of the used tire places around here. Hopefully someone comes out of the woodwork...
