Looking for something that's more suited for winter use, wanting to trade ASA EM9's 17 inch with Bridgestone Protenza s03 pole position 205/40/zr17 tires. The tires are about 80% left, and one wheel has a rim edge scrape that's not too bad. Will trade the whole set for something interesting, anything 15 inches+ (if a significant trade down, at my discretion), with decent, winterable tread (all season, etc).

OR

WTB a set of used 15 inch tires to replace the 2 bald stockers sitting in my basement. Stock size for the passat is 215/50/15, will take something close if it can be mounted.

Pictures of the EM9's on my passat here:

To add to that, I'd take $450 (obo after a week or so) if someone just wanted to buy them from me.

I'm interested in buying them from you. I have a set of 17" longbeach wheels but I don't think those would do you much good. Just lmk when you're ready to sell, thanks!

Long beaches would look hot on your car. But mk4 rubber is probably too big for IT.

Tires are shot on my wheels. But if you wanna do a trade plus some cash on my part. Whatever works. I do know one wheel has some curbage, not bent or anything at all. Lmk what you wanna do, thanks!

I'm up in Hugo, we have a lift here and a heated garage if you wanna see how everything would fit. I'm not sure where your located. Guess I never asked if your wheels will fit my GTI?? lol

Are we sure yours fit my car? I have no clue. My car isn't running right now so I'm not sure when I'm available exactly. Oh I also have 16" Mille Migilia wheels on there I can check the tread and see how good it is if your interested in those.

I'm going to white bear lake tonight to look at my mother in law's car, would you be around then? we could give it a shot. As for fitting your car, if it's 5x100 you should be set. They're not any crazy dimensions.

Being that I'm a VW noob, I googled the bolt pattern for a mkIV GTI and it says 5x100. You should be set, from what I can understand. What model are the 16's? I'd be game if they worked, maybe a small bit of cash to level out the transaction depending on the tread that's left. I'm more prone to the trade because IMO, the stock passat wheels look like butt on passats. Check your PM for my phone number, like I said, I'll be in white bear tonight and IIRC that's pretty close to hugo.
