Default I love washing cars...(pics with bonus more pics)

I didn't have anything better to do, so I washed the pimp wagen tonight. It had been getting pretty dirty from ripping around on dirt roads. I love washing my cars. I also tried out the wax that I got from chad for buying a shirt, I like it. It's better than what I had been using, and will continue using it. Sorry for the pics being dark and overall pretty crappy.

What does everyone around here use to wax their cars?

Also, I included some pics I already posted in the storm thread of my friend's jeep liberty, but thought they were neat enough to post again.

    Looks nice.

I am partial to Klasse products for my waxing needs (although Klasse is not a wax).

    Zaino's is good stuff.

I've noticed better results with paste wax over any liquid out of a bottle.

DP Max wax is good stuff and relatively cheap.

The best liquid wax I've used is Pinnacle Liquid Sovereign.

I used to work at Motorwerks, and the wax they used was awesome. I can't remember what it was though. Kyle, can you help me out here?

because...I want a more comfortable car to drive in winter. my car is super freaking cold for the first 4 or 5 miles I drive. And it doesn't have heated seats or a turbo.

You just described 98% of high-schoolers cars... it is a right of passage, now stop whining.

Hell, that describes one of my cars still.

All cars don't have heat for the first 5 minutes. They need to warm up first.

My BMW warmed up faster than any car I have ever owned. It was fancy.

My passat seems to take longer than any other car I've been in to get heat going on a really freezing day...I think I remember the rabbit being able to get heat going quicker. I'm going to replace the thermostat and see if that's it.

Pete, you do have a very good point. I fear if I had a car that the paint was in great shape on, I would go crazy. Half the people at school park like an asshole and 1.5' away from me, doordent and scratch the hell out of my car, and just don't care. Hmmmm.....

I'm going to try out Prima soon, all the Northamericanmotoring members swear by it on their MINI, it's available through detailersparadise.

Griot's Garage offers a few things that are very useful but it's all overpriced so I pick and choose.
