Are those kris' old wheels?
Today, Pete helped me install a 272º cam in the GTI and then moved the 268º from the GTI into das SPORTRUCK! Thanks Pete!
We finished the GTI, but not the SPORTRUCK. There was a TechtonicsTuning adjustable cam gear on the OEM 2.0L cam shaft, and I do not wan't to keep it. So, I do need now a standard 2.0L cam gear. I believe the car that Ryan (20v'er) is parting out late this week will be a good donor for me
ALSO, just arrived a 120mph GTI speedometer cluster. Going to see if I can adjust the mileage to be more accurate to the actual mileage. Then I might paint the needles like in the GTI, which looks awesome.
Hey John I assume that truck is a gasser? I need a fuel line from a gasser. 99% of the lines turn to dust when they are touched.
i too have extra cam gears, so if anything falls through. the duluth parts-mobile will be in town the weekend of the 28th. sounds like things are coming together nicely.

Glad to help, Matthew! Too bad we did not finish her off.
we only ran out of parts![]()
Very true.
I am SO happy I now know how to time an engine.
ditto that! I got some good ol learnin
Hope you blow any shockzzz.
One thing I don't like about the drop plates is it moves the wheel up on the axle. Which means the tire is closer to rubbing on the body. Not that big a deal most of the time, but with the toolbox, I bet it would have rubbed and the axle would still have been inches from the bumpstop.
VWjerm should figure out a way to make an extended bumpstop, so the bumpstop hits before the tire.
