The engine is almost totally clean and ready for paint. Still don't know what color to paint it. It's kind of down to some sort of tan or like hammered black.

I can has rattle cans! Block will be john deere green, valve cover and other bits will either be the brown or light greenish. I like both those colors. I think I'll use both about the bay. Like maybe the booster light green, the valve cover brown, etc. Suggestions/ideas?

personally, I think you are taking the green thing a little far. If you like green that is great. If you want your whole car green that is cool too.... just pick ONE green though.

Pffft...I'm buying a camera before suspension.

You see, these mods are cheap and yield noticeable results for me. Why would I do suspension before I can drive the car? I had the engine out, took stuff off for cleaning and paint, and will now put it back together.

I just sprayed the valve cover in that light hammered green...hot damn. I'll post up some pics when I've put another coat on and am totally satisfied with it.

I got carried away on the vc. I need to redo it. It started running.


The t belt cover seems to be turning out nicely. I might do another coat, but if I do, I'll do it light, so I don't get so much hammered effect.

word. It's kind of a silvery green. I almost wish I could get it without the hammered it, looks cool alone.
