So...
I'm really getting crazy about my rabbit again. I don't mention it much, but its name is Irwyn. Not quite sure why I named it that, but it seems to fit the car. When I'm alone out in the shop, I make vroom noises and simulate going through the gears, downshifting into a corner, etc. The car's outside, so I don't sit in it much, however. Damn I love that car. More than any other car. Because it is mine, my first car, paid for it myself, and do all the work myself. I get frustrated, but I love working on it.

Anyway, with the show coming up and all, I'd like to get it nice. Much nicer than it is now. Maybe a little interior work.

First order of business is getting the NA diesel going again. I changed the head gasket over x mas vacation, but never finished it up. I also cleaned the engine bay up even more while I was at it.

I finished reasealing the injection pump last night. Tonight, I put the bracket for the throttle cable on. What a bitch, those springs were a pain in the ass to get to go on.

Suspension plans are-
Boge progas
H&R race springs
Appropriate strut bars, too.

If anyone has suggestions on anything they think would look nice, please, please let me know! I'm thinking of sticking with a 4 button gti wheel, however, I may go with some old wood momo wheel. Going to get mk3 steelies for it, most likely.

I thought this thread would be acceptable, because it saves many threads in the future. I was using my useless thread sense, there. You see, I could've started a thread just about the injection pump. The title was going to be "Me-1 Injection Pump-0". But I figured I'd get shit for starting a thread like that, so I didn't, and just started a project thread instead. to myself, IMO. Huzzah.

haha, I just didn't want the one to be clueless this time. I figured you guys had something I was missing, so I thought more about, thought about the comments, and drew the conclusion that you guys were thinking about that.

I can't imagine how awesome this will be with nice suspension, new tires, and summer.

Anyway, let's put that behind us, and get back to discussion about my car!
