Default Front sway bar for MK4 GTi

My axle rubs every once in a while with the stock sway bar- looking for something aftermarket that has bigger space between the axle and the bar- let me know what you have, Thanks.

What is your intention for the car? Very low static, bags, or sporty?

It is at the height I want. I have H&R coilovers, and have the option to go lower, but thats not the goal. I just dont want it to rub. I'm looking for something newer, at a lower price than new- if nothing is around I'll just buy a new one from H&R-

I would suggest looking into an under axle sway.

I think my car is at a reasonable height- and it rides quite nice. Thanks for the suggestion.

I haven't done any research yet besides looking at the typical aftermarket sites- I've never seen an under axle sway bar. Who makes this? Thanks-

Tried those first- still rubbed at certain turning angles- not a total solution in my opinion.

Then remove the sway bar. Problem solved.

Seriously, remove the sway bar. You'll find that your stiffer lower suspension will ride even better, plus you will get less wheel spin in corners.

If you are in doubt, unhook the end links and tie it up and drive around for a few days.

That's an easy test- I'll try.

    Do not do that.

Proper removal and replacement of the sway bar will require dropping the subframe. Hotchkis used to sell an under axle sway. I believe Die Frau also has one on his MK4, but not sure of the brand.

do not try no front sway bar?

Easiest way to remove it is chop it in the center and pull it out both sides. No dropping the subframe.
