1990 Jetta GL 8v Manual -Asking $1250

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD- 1990 Jetta GL 8v Manual. 199XXX miles. Solid car. Dent in front fender as you can see from the pictures. Yes, there's some rust here and there but nothing major. Under body and floorboards are actually VERY clean. Newer exhaust, clutch, throttle cable. Tires are pretty decent. Headliner doesn't sag, and no water leaks inside. A/C does not work. Heat works great though. Fairly clean inside (but not going to lie, kinda smells like old man).

Found this out after listing it, but There is water in the oil. It looks to me like the head gasket popped, or there's a crack in the head.
- So Price is now SOLD. Or will trade for known working Longitude K04 or k03 turbo.

Drivers window regulator
Speedo cable
Replaced Power steering pump
Both Parking brake cables
Both rear wheel cylinders
LED instrument cluster bulbs
Battery
Battery cable
Cap
Rotor
Plugs
Brand new radiator

Needs:
Front Crank seal. (yes it leaks oil)
Rear Drivers side door doesn't open.
Bumper?
Turn signal.
Head gasket or head.

Fix the head gasket or head now - turn it into a project later. Asking $500.

Nice to meet you and thanks again! It actually drives nicer than ours! But it did overheat right before I got home. SUPER pressure in the upper radiator! Lucky it didn't blow!

Well, I ran the car for a good hour today at idle. It puffed just a bit of smoke for about 10-15 minutes, then ran fine for another 45 minutes at idle. I had to have the heater fan on to keep the temp. down since the radiator fan switch is bad (radiator fan won't come on). It idled at a constant temp for a half hour. I think if the radiator fan was on it would have run a lot cooler.There was a bit of the "chocolate milk mayo" looking stuff in the valve cover, but no more than what our other car has. I guess I'll have to do a leak down and compression test to know for sure. If there is a leak or warped head, it must be just a slight one.
