i could use some help with my 85 cabriolet

Sup, I bought an 85 cabriolet not too long ago, something is wrong with the transmission, a 5speed, and I am unfamiliar with the inner workings of the vehicle. Sounds like a date... No thank you. Lol.
Before even asking, I'm going to place a solid bet on the shift linkage rods being broken or sloppy as all hell.

i guess its probably the pressure plate or something. anyone have an idea of how to fix this and or how much it will cost. one of my buds told me i might be better off just replacing the whole shits....

What are the symptoms? What is it doing?

theres just no pressure on the clutch pedal. everything looks to me to be intact. i have neither the mechanical aptitude to figure it out or the money to pay to have it looked at right now.
