So found a seemingly legit R32 for sale with hella high miles (some of you may have seen it) well, through talking to the guy, his bottom line is $8k, but wondering if the 250k on it would just make it a waste of money. Looks clean and the only issue he admits is it needs an alignment. My thinking is that if it has that many miles, it must be pretty reliable, but for how long. I don't know a whole lot about R's so any advice is appreciated.

its a 2004 in Chi town, so obviously don't know anyone over there to do a PPI for me, though I know there are some guys on here from around there that may have recommendations

clutch replacement
suspension overhaul, like all new control arms, ball joints, struts, bushings, ect..
tranny services or rebuilding or replacement

On the bright side, 250K miles is about 31K a year, so it may just have been a highway cruiser most of it's life. But like said above, I would hope they have kept amazing maintenance records.

yeah I decided to scrap the idea. Sure i put a lot of miles on, but 250 is just a wee bit too many for me to feel comfortable.
