I'm studying at UMD and I need some work done on my passat. Can anybody help me or know where I can get good and relatively cheap work done?

it's the only place I go. they work with you when you need it. good people.

    or, Foreign Affairs. http://repairpal.com/foreign-affairs...true&id=174691

many people including myself went there once or twice and found them to be very expensive and somewhat less easy to deal with/talk to. I've had some good service there, paid a LOT for some small work done, stopped going due to finding SVS and establishing a relationship based on mutual respect with their employees.

that's about it for specifics. We have a VW dealership now up on the hill near Hom Furniture and walmart too if that's a route you want to go.

    good luck!

I did get a hold of SVS.
a guy who was parked next to me and saw the oil everywhere recommended me to them.
Now i have the issue of getting the car there...

SVS for sure. Tim Winker the service writer there knows his stuff. He is the head of the Arrowhead Sports Car Club who holds TSD rallys in the area.

It might have done something. it really didnt hit that hard! the damn road was mounded in an intersection. The oil looked very clean as it all pissed out so there is the bright side i guess

gotta look for those kinda things, it sits about a half inch lower than stock so keep that in mind.

Think you could patch it up with some JB weld and toss some oil into to get it somewhere? If you have a new pan we can swap it my place. I did the same thing in my A4.

I don't know. i have never JB welded anything. How far away from the target are you? and how well would that hold up. I would have to get a new pan. I also have a buddy that is willing to tow me.
