Default Project Lowered Values | a diesel story

Well, I bought a Caddy and figured one of these to keep record
and seek advice wouldn't be a bad idea.

    It's a 1981 Caddy with the 1.6 NA Diesel + 5 speed.
    Navy interior, minty.
First up is regular maintenance and a refinish of the wheels.

I hate you. Only because of how much headroom you have. I wish I wasn't 6'3" and into mk1 caddy's...

    The truck looks awesome btw.

Sweet find. Remember this one doesnt run on corn. Potatoes and soy beans are the only veggies that will burn Interested to see what you do with this.

This truck is perfect for anyone 5'6'' or under.
After reading bio-diesel horror stories it will be kept on diesel.

I do now own two cars, neither of which run on gas. Lol.

Find a set of 'rocco seats or recaros with height adjust, you'll be just fine. Im 6' and have tons of headroom in my caddy.

^^ got a question for you.

Pulling the engine to do the head , valve cover, exhaust manifold gaskets, new block heater.
Any recommendations while I am in there?

Why would you pull the engine to do a head?

and "while I'm in there" - add turbo

I have access to a hoist, since we need one for Alex's Opel.
    And block heater requires it...

No turbo, having this be slow as balls is a good reality check for my 337.
