Default 1996-1998 BMW 328i or is

sold my Honda today and i wanted to put this out there to see if anyone had anything that wasn't already listed.

Here is what i am looking for:

    Year: 1996 - 1998 (i want OBD2)
    Make: BMW
Model: 328i or 328is (looking at 4doors more)
Transmission: MUST BE MANUAL (I have zero interest in an automatic)
Would like ti to be under 150000 miles
Color: Preferred in the following order: White, Black, Silver, Burgundy

I am looking to spend no more than $5000 and will only spend my max if the car really warrants it.

other things that would be nice are any work done on the cooling system (must provide receipts or will assume it hasn't been done), little to no rust (pretty important giving my price range) would like a black interior but not required.

If you have something or know of someone who does please forward it to me. right now there is nothing clean on CL (at the time of this posting) so i am looking out from there.

There is a case of your favorite beer for the person who finds me the car. I have started to look out of state so i am going to try and keep this thread more locally (tristate area)

    THANKS!!!

    -Alex

His price is too high, but other then that looks like a good buy.

Took a quick look at craigslist for the surrounding area in Denver where I live... nothing I would touch with a 10 mile pole.... typical abused BS.

Also this one, I'm sure you could work it down more due to the title: http://greenbay.craigslist.org/cto/3173719894.html

    thanks Matt!

i would rather have a clean 328 than a rusted m3, and i talked to the guy in GB yesterday and he isn't willing to budge on the price...

i did go out to a few dealerships this morning, the guys at minnetonka BMW were complete assholes. carousel audi was really nice as was westside vw and motorwerks bmw. they all had nothing

I'd say your best bet is bimmerforums, e30tech, r3vlimited... you'll be happier with an enthusiast car than shaking dice on craigslist leads that give you a 2hr trip one-way

i've been looking on bimmerforums for a while and nothing has real popped up, i thought e30tech and r3vlimited were more for e30s
