I want to put a 95 passat tdi into an 84 jetta.
Where will this immediately give me a headache?

Do you want to run an 02a or 020?
02a would create far more hassle than an 020.

where is your first headache? Hydraulic clutch. second headache? drive by wire pedal cluster. Then maybe CE2 fuse box. clearing the front end of the AC compressor. axles. routing the exhaust of the low hanging turbo.
