    kbb 'excellent' is ~$7500

I've seen much worse markups on this forum.

The Golf GLS did come in TDI this year, but I think he would have mentioned that.

It's very high IMO considering I sold a stock 2003, indigo blue 4dr, 2.0L, with 61K miles on it back in 2007 for $8500...

Pretty hard to find a car that is almost 10 years old with that low of mileage and in great condition... It is OBO also...

I'm curious as to what the $3500 in mods is exactly.

Was just asking myself that. Doesn't add up. Maybe the OP could give more details on the $3500 spent?

I usually agree with you, but this is a little nuts.

The suspension is $550 shipped, tires are about $500 a set (maybe), the aristos...maybe $500 if they are mint...and the rest sounds like upkeep.

Besides, you don't get every cent for your mods when you sell the car. It has low miles, yes. But, it's an auto 2.0. Would you pay that? I sure would not.

OP, I'm sure it's a fine car, it's just not going to sell on here for that price. If you can get that somewhere else, I think that most on here would be jealous. Good luck!
