widend steelies

Anybody have any experiance with making widend steelies? Or know of anybody who has done it?

Stockton wheel out in California. Any offset you want in 1/4" incraments.

EDIT: May be open again according to their website, but tread carefully. Had a friend loose a set of wheels with them....

Oh, and another thing to note about Stockton wheel. They aren't selling you widened steelies, they are selling you wheels that are already the width you are asing for, they just weld in the face of the wheel where you want it. That means the barrels are one piece, not barrels that have been cut apart and have had material added to the centers.

Don't they only sell wide steel wheels? AKA they won't take your VW steelies and widen them.

I get that but looking at it first post leads me to believe he wants to widen a set he has.
