Loads. It's a white 325e, wayyyy at the back, second to last row, 4th or 5th car in on the north side of the row.
everything from the TB to the airbox was gone, and I took the ICV, and cut a bunch of connectors off of the harness. Other than that, the engine is intact. There is 0.00% of the exhaust still on the car. If you want a 4dr blue vinyl comfort interior (and door cards), you're in luck.

I need to go out there - last time I was there I had to take axles out of an old Ranger to put in a Mustang lol (5 lug conversion).

Jebus, 1900 for a iX engine... wish I would known, I have a bare block with a 2.7 crank in it from a 91 with 130k taking up space in my gargae.
I know man but I was sick of effing around with used junk. I had a line on another short block from another member but I couldn't tolerate any more variables.
I literally ordered the block and pistons from the realoem part number through Blunt. The thing of it is, we thought we were getting a short block but it ended up coming with a few less parts. To be honest, it wasn't THAT big of a deal as I was quoted 1000 bucks to do the machine work (by a very reputable shop) and then .050 over Mahle pistons were another 600 (pistons, pins, rings) so at that point, what's another couple hundred for a block from BMW? I had the crank checked and polished and rods checked for alignment at Crank Shaft Supply which was an extra hundo but whatever. Is what is is at this point.
I have a TON into this car. Like ridiculous amounts lol but it's all been done exactly right with new OEM parts. I paid 3450 for the at the end of January and I have at least 4K into the motor, misc. parts, brand new Bilstein/H&R suspension, new everything in the front accept the rack, and new brakes and lines all the way around, I mean you name it it will be gone through.
I plan on restoring the whole thing and driving it every day and keeping the M3 for a fun car. Like any iX, things weren't supposed to get this out of hand but I'm one of those people that can't just put stuff back together if there are other items that need attention so basically have had this car mechanically down to nuts, bolts and a pile of parts.
I'll post a nice long thread of the build (or maybe do a blog or something) when I get some time. It's been a hell of a trip thus far but I don't even feel like it's halfway done. Once the motor is back in and working, I still need to worry about the transfer case. It works great but when I started getting into things, I pulled the plug out of the t-case and there was ZERO fluid in it. Like not even a friggen drop so who knows how long that's going to last.
The car is an automatic which might not be looked upon as "cool" or "proper" here but I'll tell you what, it's a damn nice commuter when it's workingI had an auto in my 335i and loved it because there was so much torque (tuned as well). The M3 is an SMG and I wouldn't have had an E46 any other way to be honest. I just don't miss having a clutch pedal at all. Any M3 for me will have a DCT no question.
Anyway, getting of track a bit but yeah. This should be a damn good iX when I'm done with it. I would do a 5MT in it if I can get the parts right because I think it really would make a legit difference in a car with such a small amount of power to begin with but I'm not going to go out of my way to do it that's for sure which is why I'm only looking for mint take off iX parts (which are next to impossible to find not to mention you can't bench test a VC coupling on the bench that I know of).

You can bench test a VC, but you need a lathe and a torque wrench to do it.
I forget how you do it, but its listed on e30tech in the iX section.
