Default Chains, Guides, Clutch and some seals MK3 VR6

It is time to do some maintenance on the VR6. what would be easiest way of doing this? removing the front of the car, pulling the engine out etc. After I do this maintenance I may put the turbo setup in the golf for a little while. suggestions are appreciated.

I've only done this with the motor out so I can't really compare. But with it out it was cake if you have an engine stand.

I might suggest getting a 42dd crack pipe, too.

it isn't hard w/ the motor in car, that way A/C, coolant, and steering can all stay attached....it is just sucks dealing w/ the trans.
