The motorcycle is a work of art, a testament to the corner gods, and as with all religious endevours, requires a bit of ceremony and respect.

My 99' Jeep that has until recently been in good shape has never gotten better than 18mpg and that was on a trip to Duluth. I get 16mpg with everyday driving. Can't wait to ditch this pig.

Chrysler products have always been less effecient than their competitors. I don't know why.

I've been searching for an SUV as of late, but for some reason never considered Toyota as an option, and I don't know why. I'll have to keep an eye out.

So, The first project will be a tune up. I'll throw some spark plugs in it, maybe some oxygen sensors, and maybe look at a cold air intake for it and see what I can do for mileage.
New fluids (synthetic where applicable) really helped the mileage on our Envoy. Of course I dumped $100's into all that fluid then promptly traded it in. That was painful.

Do the diffs, xfer case, trans, etc.

This thing is going to get me in trouble. There are so many choices in suspension upgrades, lifts, bumpers, brush guards, TRD performance, and of course wheels and tires.

When I bought this rig I wasn't considering off-roading it. I didn't realize how capable this thing was. Now it's tempting..... lol

What did I get myself into.

Find somewhere else to spend money. Or don't spend money. Not to piss on your parade, but if you were talking about needing a loan to replace a transmission, I think you might want to charge up your cash reserves before dropping money on lifts, sweet bumpers, off-road tires, winches, snorkels, skidplates, wheels or any/all of the other cool shit that this truck doesn't need.

Although, what am I saying? People on here spend themselves silly on car stuff...so I guess it's just a matter of priorities. But still, if I were you I would not do those things unless you have cash to spare, and no better place to spend it.
