1.8t APH ( new beetle , 2000 ) block - low oil pressure - head was burned up - new oil pump and go or build a monster ?

Jh engine block - receipt for rebuild in 2007 - 1st oversized stock compression pistons, honed, bored, new bearings, etc.. head has P&P done by previous owner as well - also has an adjustable timing gear. $300 picked up in Nebraska - shipping would be about $200-250
