    Default Goodbye Mk4, Hello Mk6

For a short while, I had convinced myself I wanted to switch to a WRX or Civic Si. Luckily, I got a hold of myself and stopped that nonsense by taking a new GTI for a test drive.

Took her home last night. Deep Black, 4-door, DSG. Love it. Happy to stay in the VW family!

Shopping list: roof rack, winter wheels/tires. Leaving the rest alone for now -- I'm sure I'll change my mind at some point, but the Mk6 is damn near perfect right from the factory.

A subaru would be fun in the winter but other than that I think the vw build quality is better...but who knows.

Say what? I meant nice pick up. As in, new ride. Not truck.

    - sometimes I wonder, if you got out of the house more, you'd pick up stuff like this.

I just saw your PM on another forum about WRXes, too...

You made a good choice. The GTI is way better looking than the pre-facelift WRX models.
