so update... dropped it off at Bob Burg VW unfortunately..

They had only scheduled it for an hour, and "don't know when they will be able to look at the rest of the problems." I have been dealing with an RCM(Regional Case Manager) with Vw, and she told me to make sure what ever tech I dropped it off with was aware ALL problems had to be entered into their systems. When I stated this to the Service Manager he was like "why would we enter all of them i.e. the wind noise" seriously come on... So now I am just waiting for the RCM to call me later today.,


I just got a call from the dealership I had to take it to. They had it at 10 called me at 11:45 stating. We didn't find any problems. Come get your car by end of business day.

turns out the RCM won't be calling me until tomorrow.

Stalling out at random is a pretty major thing that VW looks into... did they give you the name of the RCM?

No, all they told me is my RCM is a she, but no name for the RCM I called Customer care today, and asked if they could get me the RCM, but they were not able to. I made them aware of what was happening, but also stated if the car stalled out or the transmission problem happened again before I recieved a call from the RCM, and damages, and injuries would in my eyes be fault of VWoA and Bob Burg VW. I doubt they would actually accept any responsibility, but yea.

that would be awesome, because right now I don't even want to drive the car, because I'm afraid its going to stall and I will get hit. But, no other choice as I have to get to work. I'm honestly so fed up right now I want them to take the car and give me my money back and I'll buy and A3 or a FR-S

Well both problems happened tonight within 30minutes of each other.. So I'm having it towed, I almost got smashed by oncoming traffic because it stalled while going through an intersection.. That was fun... I can deal with replacing transmissions and clutches in my old vws, but not this bullshit with a brand new one

OK, so what I got out of the shop foreman, there are 2 ground wires on the left front frame rail. Sometimes the bolts are loose, sometimes there is just too much paint on them.

I had found that searching vortex and the dealership here said Oh that can't be the problem with your car

I would check those grounds, maybe clean them up, secure them down.

I know you have a brand new car, and should NOT have to do this your self, but it seems your dealer is giving you the run around.

Do not attempt to fix this yourself. If you find an issue make the dealer fix it.

I don't even have the car right now, it had to be towed last night when it almost got me tboned when it died in an intersection..
