    Default 89 Porsche 944 Turbo

No direct affiliation just a local Porsche club member that I know is selling this.
Great bang for the buck, tasteful mods and will whoop ass on a lot of cars out there both on the street and the track. Super good deal at $10k

    Hello**New price**
I am selling my 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo. If you know these cars you know this is actually a Turbo S. This is the last year of 944T offered in the US. Asking price is $10,500.00. Not interested in dealers, low ballers or any scammers.
This car needs nothing. Just a good owner! I can list everything done but I would rather discuss or have you see and drive it for yourself. Below are a few pictures.
Here is a link to additional pictures. http://s1054.photobucket.com/albums/s481/klmeach/
WP,TB,Clutch, hoses, belts all replaced .
    3" SFR stainless steel exhaust
108,145k on the car. Engine has less and 3k since rebuild.
Would be interested in trading for a 993+cash from me.
    Thanks for looking!

Well the 89 turbos are the best/fastest/most sought after 944's made (besides the 88 turbo s which is essentially the same car as the 89's)
I have owned several and can't believe people spend $10k on e30's and e36's when this is so much more car. ( I can say that with confidence after owning all of the cars mentioned)

I've always wanted a 944 Turbo. This looks like a great example!

I agree that the 951 (even the base 944) is way, way more car than any E30 and any E36 (short of, perhaps, the M3) but the buy in price isn't everything. This particular example looks like a really good car but potential owners better know exactly what they are getting into.

The timing belts need to be replaced every 30K miles/3 years and the water pump should be replaced every other timing belt change. That in itself is expensive. Then there's the clutch which has an INSANE book time.

I would never touch one unless it had just had the clutch and belts done (like this car). Great example though.
