I love everything about this project! Cant wait to see it laying on the ground. Whats the plan for the driving position? I know you're a taller guy- are you going to need a super reclined seat to fit?

Also- between this and the R32 wagon, I'm starting to think you have a thing for long rooflines...

I have a plastic race seat that will be mounted to the floor. I've alread tested it and there will be plenty of room.

I am a total sucker for a wagon.

Well, if I am flat on the ground, yes, a bit. But not much more than your average 5' tall person in a regular car. With it on the ground, I still have a lot of headroom, so it will likely be an inch or two up. In the end, my head will be very close to the roof, but not touching it. That should make visibility as good as it will be able to be with it chopped down.

Not that this build isn't awesome enough but do you have any pictures of the trailer build?

Not really. Only one other one that shows the rough frame. It really isn't very exciting to look at.

She is so much cuter with her braces off:

Roof is now in place to the point where I could take out the temp bracing. It is obviously far from finished, but it has the right shape and size now.

This is the faster part of it though. There is a lot of work left that doesn't show any real results.

Man, I envy your willingness to take on these huge projects, and execute them so well.

Nice work, can't wait to see the finished product.

Got all the large gaps filled in. Still a lot left to do, but it is actually kind of looking like a car again.
