Club weekly project!

Can we get some sort of club project going on again that we can participate in weekly. Im talking like how some of you did the lowered radio flyers last year. I would really like to do something like that since I never got into the last one!

We should figure out another one!

RC cars/boats... I have been wanting to get one again as I used to love them as a kid. (Spent about $900 on an electric car, and $1400 on a gas boat when I was younger, so not a cheap hobby)

I wish I had a gas rc car! I used to have like a $500 electric one but that thing broke quite quickly.

If everyone wants to pitch in, I have ten 1/24th scale pan cars that need electronics.

We could make a eurowerks 24th scale racing team. All the cars could be the same, then its down to the driver skill to win the race.

Are there actually races around here for those things? Do you have pics of said car?

Here are the 2 that I have built already, the other 8 are still sealed in boxes.

You have 10 of those? I think we need to start racing. Want to sell one to me?

Yea I got 10 of them with the intent to have a eurowerks show races, but after factoring the cost of electronics for all 10, it was just way too expensive.

So you would set these up with electrical power, or gas? How much would these things cost including setup each.

They would be electric.

I think I priced it all out to being around 150$ each for electronics, I just couldnt justify adding a extra 1500$ to the deal to make them all run. I had thought about just setting up 4 of them with electronics and having 4 person races, then the other 6 would be spares.

BTW, these can take standard revell model car bodies.
