Thanks everyone. Neck is a little sore. Other than that, she's fine.
The car got a $6500 estimate this morning, with rear hatch coming in at $1200, before paint.
Ouchie.
So at this point did they just deem it a total loss? Or are they still figuring that out?
After 911, ... haha
Its noble how you are choosing to take the high road and not go after the guy who ran into you. Thats not very common in the sue-happy society we live in. Ultimately its your choice, but if someone plowed into the back of my car because they where texting/ talking/ off in la-la land id sue the pants off of them. I understand accidents happen, but in your case it was obviously a case of not paying attention to the road (on the part of the rover driver). Anyways, its good that no one was seriously injured, and hopefully the insurance guys take care of you.![]()
Carley rear ended someone last week.
Her window was down and a plastic bag/litter blew in and hit her face. Caught her off guard. At that precise time traffic slowed because of someone jaywalking (east lake street, big surprise).
I'm laughing about it now.
And she hit the one other driver on East Lake with car insurance.![]()
