CAA is tough for me to make as I have pretty standard prior commitment on Thursday night.
Anyway, finally got some time to look the car over last night in detail and I'm happy with most of it.
First thing we did was put it on the alingment rack and checked everything out. Car is square and straight, I wasn't to worried about it not being, but was nice to confirm. We found a tiny bit to much front Camber, but not enough to worry about or adjust out.
Then we spent a lot of time crawling around, under and through the car. Found the loud AC fan and I'll just have to order a new one once my checkbook catches up from the trip and registration hit. Also found the passenger footwell fan is shot. All total this model of 911 had 6 fans related to different AC and heating tasks. So I guess having to replace two of the 6 on a 26 year old car should be some what expected. But before I order the footwell fan I need to do some research. I'm not 100% sure how much these fans help, since the car has SSI headers and the exhaust is basically backdated to 1974. The back dating of the exhaust to 1974 standards removes one of the fans as well. So the car came with 6 fans but mine only has 5 now.
Other than the seized fan, nothing huge jumped out, found two missing screws on an HVAC cover and the passenger door automaitc lock, doesn't seem to do anything. I can hear the servo motor in the door run, but it never locks the door. Guessing the linkage is off or broken inside the door. Should be a pretty easy thing to fix, once I remove the door card to get a look around. I also ordered a new power seat switch and a driver's side door check as it was loud when I opened and closed the door and that bothered me.
Congrats!!! Ryan
really curious to see what your car weighs in comparison to mine from the two similar generations. I just threw away a ton of AC stuff. though I suppose it may not have fit anyways.

Congrats Ryan!!
to be honest the first few times I saw the thread title pop up, I skimmed it thinking that it was the other "minivan" thread. haha.
The car looks great, I'm happy for ya!
Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need.
I did the same thing, thought it was a van update![]()
Totally ignored this thread until I realized the title was the reverse of your previous. Awesome to see you finally found one! I look forward to following your progress.
