Well. I am open to doing this. Anyone have a location in mind? I can schedule whenever so let me know what works for y'all. Donor cars are welcome. I can show how to deal with different issues on different cars. Pick a day and a place and pm me or text/call me 612-327-8586.

Intriguing idea. I have always wanted to do waxing/buffing myself. I would be curious to see how many scratches it could get out of my car haha.

I am still interested. Won't be towards the cities until weekend of the 19th.

I'm definitely still interested and available as being a donor car. I would be very appreciative as I don't know how to get this glue off. If not, I'll just hire you straight out Joey. Let me know

This is a great idea. Ive always wanted to learn how to properly detail my car and finally meet some of the fellow members. Im definitely interested if you guys get something set up. I would also be willing to use my car as a donor, or if not needed, possibly hire someone in the near future.

Sorry, neglected this thread for a while.. We don't close on our house until May 31st, so maybe after we get settled in we can do something, unless anybody else wants to host it, or knows of a place where we could do it.

I would be willing to use my car as a donor as well. Being I don't live in the cities, I am unsure of any places to hold it. A self service car wash possibly? My girlfriends house is in Burnsville, probably a little south for most.

I think rather than donor cars, it is going to be a work on your own car type of thing, where we have the instructor walk around telling what to do and what not.. That makes more sense and would be more educational than everyone just sitting watching one car get buffed. Right now Harbor Freight has the same high speed polisher/buffer I got for $29.. go pick one up.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Kinda like show how to do a small spot or portion on the car and then have the owner do the rest. I'll check their website.

My "donor car" is a 4"x12" area on my trunk. FYI

We mayt have a place to host this event. It is my understanding that it is available M-F after 6pm in Savage. I would be happy to sort of instruct and help. That way I'm not doing all kinds of work on a bunch of different cars. I have plenty of know how and will share as many tips as I can. Just FYI, High Speed Buffing can take yrs to perfect so don't expect to be a pro after this. You WILL learn plenty. This should be fun.

Neat! Where is this place? What kinds of supplies should we bring? Or would you want to pick some stuff up, since you probably get some good discounts and we can all chip you some cash!

Super excited for this... And yeah that is a good point as for the supplies. Maybe if Joey has connections for the compounds etc. You can just sell some to us. (I know in my old detail shop, our buffer came up with his own compound that was amazing, not sure if he ever marketed it, I will try to get in touch with him)
