ok i might go back to work tomorrow and pick one up! i need a cord to go with it too right??
also Sven7 said i should swooop these up, i really dig these too.
4x108 iirc on those SAAB wheels. Just try to find a set of e30 BMW wheels with tires already mounted. Then you wont have to mess with adapters, offsets, ect.
As far as air tools goes, just get a small compressor and a decent impact. I have a small 5 gallon compressor, got it new for $100 at Home depot, and it works fine for taking off wheels/removing stubborn bolts. I have a campbell housefield impact and it sucks, get a good one.
As far as everyone hating on this kid, just remember everyone starts out at zero. How about if you wouldnt say it to his face, you dont type it on here. Greatthanxbye
Those wheels are cool enough to warrant adapters imo. A set of four comes in under $100.
You'd need shims as I believe VW's are 57.1 centerbore
na then ill pass, rather just stick to 4x100 or if you still have those porchse cookie cutters i would buy adapters for those
got a breaker bar, torque wrench and an air gun.
Nice, I got lucky, my dad has a shop with a lift, every tool I would ever need and the willingness to help me with my cars.
Good start though!
ok, got one strut almost in, cant seem to get the top bolt back on though tips???
need help, one of the front bolts wont seem to fit, any ideas for short term fix?
have one strut in.
crappy cell phone picture, but with one side down... this is how it turned out, pretty low i would say.
as for tool wise, i went and got all of this stuff, and actually got a 12 pack of coke, and some hotwheels cars... anyone else collect them?
