Related story: I was maybe 15 and I tried to buy some steel balls for my sling shot. Fleet farm wouldn't sell them to me, I walked back grabbed some marbles from toy land and purchased them no problem.

We cant even sell the cans of compressed air to u18 at best buy. Cant have you kiddies huffing it and losing all your brains! haha Just have your mom/dad/ 18 plus friend buy paint for you. Heres another tip: when choosing wheels, consider that tires of the "low profile" variety are far easier to find inexpensively in sized 15'' plus. There are options for 14'' wheels, but they are either more expensive racing tires or big floppy all seasons.
Yep, better with Euros to take your time. Shit gets spendy, save some money and do it right. Bet advice I got when I was your age, heed it.

thats what i said i was going for glx's, but other people said hella reds would look good, and the reds where only gunna be in for a bit.
ok so the bottom of my car the front, the part before the lip, it looks like im supposed to have grills, when i got the car it only had one, and i just took the other one out, how would i install these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-98-VW-GOL...#ht_2214wt_905
LED ebay fogs? Please don't. Just go to a junkyard and pull the parts you need for $5 instead of blowing $40 of your suspension money on crap.
Go ahead and tint your tails. The don't cheap out advice is great for mechanical stuff but IMO it's a bit hard to mess up tails, and if you do the car is still drivable.
ok thanks for the advice sven7! im gunna go to upull soon find some tails!
ohh actually, i have a question has anyone installed a short shift lever before? any difference?
I don't know how similar it is, but a friend made me a short shifter for the Mk1 in about half an hour with scrap metal, a welder and a drill. It's much more fun to drive.
Google images suggest the shift lever is essentially the same. See if you can find someone to fab one up. If you have play in the shifter (wobbles back and forth, squishy feeling) it would also be a good time to do a shifter rebuild.
what do you mean by more fun to drive?
http://www.rennenparts.com/product/e...hortshift.html well just something like this just the what i would call it the bar i guess? looks very simple to install. thoughts?
You can shift faster because you don't have to move the shifter so far to shift. It'll make the stock setup feel like an old truck.
It's the shift lever. If it's the same as the Mk1 (It says 8V so probably) they just extend the lever and drill new holes farther out. This is simple and easy to do for free. Don't waste $50 on it.
