    I think how good/bad the ride is on cheap coils is subjective. It depends on what you're used to and have experinced. I have Racelands in my VW and I like the way they ride much better then my DD Cavalier. If Raceland made coilovers for my Cavalier I would have them. If I had a BMW or a Vette as my DD I would probably have a different feeling. I don't have a skid plate and have around 3" of clearence and don't have any problems. you just have to pay a lot of attention to the road in front of you.

    After I lowered mine I couldn't find a local alignment shop that had a rack I could get on so I did it myself with a tape measure. Goes straight when I let go of the wheel and the tires are wearing evenly.

    well thank you very much for the info, once again im not some super sport racer here, just trying to make my car more unique, something that i can express myself with, if that makes sence. so thanks again Scott, appreciate the good comment.

    ok i know what ill get after my first paycheck, im going to get my motor mounts fixed, if i have any extra cash after that, which i think i will,either start saving for coils, maybe buy an oil leve, oil temp, battery level guages, and now how do i install those?

    hmm, may just save for those, also kinda interested in a 60/40 cup kit, still have to read up on those though.
    and maintenance has always been most importanat, i cant stand that kicking anymore, i have to ride the clutch sometimes just so it wont happen... i just dont know how to put in motor mounts...

    Changing the front motor mount on a mk3 is super easy. Taking your time, it should only be a half hour to an hour at the most.

    i dont know which motor mount it is though, unless theres only one... then again i have no tools, and i dont really have much experience with cars, and just about everyone on this page should know about that now.
