I can get around 250 miles. I can't really let it get to low because of the fancy fuel pump. If there was a drive, I could submit E-85 friendly stops along the way. Also not opposed to having to carry some fuel. Or just drive something less picky. Haha.

250 miles isnt too bad. 200 miles inbetween stops would be fine w/ me. your gig to find stations though.

    you could also play catchup

yeah i am thinking it is going to be about 200 for me since it is a 12~13 gallon tank and i was getting about 22mpg when i had just the one webber 38/38 on it so i am thinking it is going to be a bit less than that when the twin 45s go on.

i have a feeling some serious sound-deadening is going to have to go into the car in order for me to stay sane driving these distances hehe

your fuel economy wont go down if its tuned correctly. its a progressive circuit that can be tuned nicely for cruisin around. If I were you I'd redo the exhaust to be quieter at idle and cruising

that has to happen anyway because of the new head, thank god opelgtsource still sells a ceramic coated header for my motor which is going to save me a boat load over having one custom made

might be worth running a resonator and a muffler. really isnt going to cost you power and will make it a lot more tolerable, plus induction noise is better anyways

Alex, 200 mile stops sound good to me. That would be around every 3ish hours, and with my knee that wouldn't be a bad idea lol. I'm down to work out pitstops.

Kris, not sure if having scheduled "regroups" every few hours would be beneficial or not? I'm sure the 337 can catch up either way.

I think sheduled stops at certain spots will work out well. anyone that needs to stop elsewhere can just catch up, or figure it out on their own. You cant babysit or it all falls apart.
