WTB volvo 850 blower motor resistor

would like to find a replacement blower motor resistor before mine completely goes, and i'm stuck driving somewhere without heat.

out of curiosity i looked one up while i stopped in at work (advance auto) and they list for 108$. Thats crazy business considering my contour one was like 19$.

Do you have auto temp control or no? That would be where you set the temperature and the fan kicks up or down automatically. Theres different part numbers for each.

Rockauto.com lists a w/o temp control for about 65$ but the ones with are about 124$. Have you tried bluntech yet? Ive only heard good things about those guys so far

mine is does not have auto control i did find some on bluntech and ipd the cheapest i found was around 60$. I was hoping someone local would have one laying around for cheaper

Just buy a new one. The used one is going to fail eventually anyways.

I never buy used when buying commonly failing parts. Replacing a failed part with another part just as destined for failure just doesn't make sense.

Unless you're like me and have a stash of said parts to use up anyways. (ex. i have 3 festiva parts cars and 2 parted squares to pick stuff from)
