This is a long shot but you don't have the spacer that goes under the nut that holds the steering wheel on do you? #4 in this diagram.

The paint is as near perfect as can be for the age, no rust or gouges. The hvac trim is ok but i think the sliders on the one i have left are shot. You're welcome to check them out any time. PM me for contact info.
