This little gem has been my daily driver since Feb of 2011. Its a great commuter, and gets around 30mpg.

I recently replaced all of the major maintenance items and purchased a set of new tires and an alignment. It has some of the usual mk3 surface rust around the rear hatch and a few spots of surface rust on the front wheel wells. Has small scratches and little dents but nothing major. Everything mechanical on this car is in operating condition including the door locks and emergency brake.

It runs and drives incredibly smooth and straight with the suspension lift and the aggressive winter tires, but when its time to drive through snow this thing dominates.


Needs- A new owner

Maintenance performed in 2011 –
Engine-
Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat and housing, both accessory drive belts, the Ignition coil, spark plugs, and the oil pressure sensor.

Suspension-
Fresh rear wheel bearings, bmw bottle caps on brand new 185/75/14 Hancook iPikes , B3 Passat vr6 struts and springs.

Other/ Extras
New driver and passenger lock tumblers, oem vw mud flaps, upgraded Sylvania halogen headlight bulbs, Hella 1000 fog lights.

Votex Roof Rack with two bike rack attachments and the wide thule snowboard attachment locks/keys included.

Thanks! The lift isn't anything major, the stiffer vr6 settup actually makes it handle better then the super soft 2.0l suspension it originally had.

Josh's is a 2 door gti with a lift. I worked with josh at Schmeltz for a few years and picked up the idea from him. Same setup but 4door.
