Yeah I read the news article it had a link to, but couldn't find anything related to if the cop lost his job or not. But I sure hope so, that is a horrible cop, making up charges and threating an innocent person.

I guess I don't get how he was a smartass.... You shouldn't have to cower or bend over for the police, that's the problem with them really..... Sure, you should follow their orders when they're reasonable but since when was never questioning authority a good thing? It was clear this cop was on a massive power trip right from the start.

Did you see the other video of when he gets stopped at the DWI check point. They ask him where hes heading and he tells the cop he doesnt have to discuss his personal life....... give some god damn respect, yes cops take it to far and there are problems if i asked that kid in a nice conversation where hes headed and he said that to me i would beat his ass

But picture doing a job where a routine traffic stop is a gamble with life. People shoot cops for no reason, if they just ask you a question be nice to them and most of the time you get respect back......... ok sometimes

He has a point. You don't owe the cops an explanation of where you're going if you've done nothing wrong. That's why checkpoints were ruled illegal in MN because police can't just stop you with no reason. I can't believe some states still have them.

The cop says that after dark the lot he is in in known for car thiefs, suicides, and other bad acts. The cop had every right to jump to a conclusion when a 20yr old smartass parks in the lot alone and just sits there. You go searching for trouble, dont be pissed when it finds you.....
