Default Should I get a new car?

I was gonna pay off my car soon but was thinking this could be a chance to get a brand new car and have no payments on it,as in if I sell mine for say 10k and throw down another 10 I will have which could equal about what a new gti would cost (for example). Whats out there thats good for about 20-25 k ?

Sure, why not? This wouldnt come out of your 401k though would it? Maybe we should go test drive some cars?

personally, I\'d get a slightly used car. You can save so much from the sticker price and still have a car thats just as good.

    10k could get an E30 M3....

    20k... maybe an M-coupe...

personally I\'d go for something RWD, just because it\'s so much more fun to drive than FWD cars.

Do you like those Mercedes Benz hatches? they\'re kinda slow stock, but look very pretty. I\'d imagine they\'re about as fast as my E30, which is slightly slower than my MK4.

Those Volvos go for pretty cheap.

Or you could justr go buy an accord...

Drove a new gti it was fast and stiff but floaty. Drove a bmw 3 it something it was real power and a really nice car but I decided to just pay off my car and not be in debt again over a stupid car and finally get a sex change operation.

I\'m confused. How could it be stiff yet floaty? I need to drive a GTI with the correct transmission but it didn\'t seem floaty to me. It was way harsher than I was expecting actually. My only gripes about it were the ride height is borderline ridiculous, cramped/blah interior and the big VW badge on the back (kidding).

The frame seemed stiff. But since it was so high it seemed like I was driving an mpv or small suv..no joke. The gti is so high I could roll a skateboard underneath it from front to back and it wouldnt get caught on anything. The torgue build on the gti is amazing I was going 80 and it didnt feel like it at all more like 55-60. My car is older and you can feel more to it like the frame is nice but not as peppy as it was when it was younger. Its boobs are starting to sag.
