Mr. Miles, I must contribute to your thread, and the best way for me to do this as the car left me speechless is in picture form.

thank you so much Kris.
I was beyond shocked that you knew who I was & that you would ever have asked me to cruise with you over to Sears/Rice St. I had no idea what the heck you were talking about, but I wasn't about to say no to someone I have so much respect for. besides, that German ass & exhaust is just too sexy to not wanna follow into the night.
showed so much character of you to include me like you did, & make a japanese roadster feel at home 400mi. & a few countries out of their element. then the support you gave me at entering the show area with my lil slamster, just left me speechless.
thank you so so very much Kris. I will never forget that weekend & so much of it was because of you. again, thank you. truly.
yep, hardcore. thanks. scrapes everywhere. that's how I earned the name Frame Bangin' FABEL.
nope. too overrated. no turn signals or mirrors either. oh & ziptied windshield, blown airbags taped up, glass all over the floor, ramps in place of passenger seat, constant frame sparks, too skinny of tires for the wheels, vitamin water in my radiator, zipties over my waterpump belt since it ripped again, & all that jazz.
wow. photo looks great. there's no better compliment than someone taking their time to stop, shoot a moment in time & then give it to you personally to preserve for a lifetime. I saved it immediately, then went back to admire. very happy!
furthermore, I appreciate the compliments both here & in person. it was really nice to have crawled out of my car after a 13hr. drive from Chicago to have been greeted so nicely by the MN EW folk that I had never met previously.
thank you & to all others that did the same or may be lurking my thread at some point. you guys are all really nice to outsiders. us Chicago guys have certainly discussed this & are confused if it's the MN side of things or the EW family alone. regardless, I will forever be back.
I giggled at the show when my beltline was as tall as your car
I shaved it for a reason. everyone else stops at turn signals![]()
I figured, no plates would flow really well with this roadsters mindset & bodylines alike. again, my car literally speaks to me & I just follow/ execute the work. it came out perfect!, as my car is too free to be under government controls anyway. so many people at the show said I should have won 'cop magnet' for this, if not for the 1st ziptied windshield they had ever seen.
again, my car's not VAG material & I came to Eurowerks because I simply love Eurowerks, so this award as well as others that possibly I could have won, just did not apply for my car in anyway.
the way I see it, for as genuine as so many people treated me there, & for as large of a smile as I carry every year I attend, there is not a year at Grain Belt that I don't feel like a trophy winner.
I miss you guys already.
shaved licence plates - another 1st. filthy roadster with polished wheels - well, that's just FABEL.
