Traded the Jetta for this last night. Going to dig into it once the weather warms up a bit. Kept the Saturn wheels from the Jetta, need shorter tires though.

Immediate plans are to fix the worn out front suspension, get shorter tires, lower it, do something about the fugly caddy grill, and rust repair/paint. Long distance plans involve some manner of engine swap.

Drove it a couple miles a few days ago to go quirk hunting. Moaned, needs bearings. Click that can be felt through the ebrake lever, loose adsjuster and/or brake shoe? None of the above. Overly wide tires rubbing on the springs and ebrake cable. Will need spacers with new tires.

Yep, hence why I'm going to need some spacers. Fixing the problem with some stock mk3 wheels tonight until I get shorter tires and spacers.s

Also of note: ground clearance, bitches, I has it.
