Finally got the bumper put on, and took it for a drive.
Blew up the head.
Replaced the tensioner pulley and flushed the power steering fluid in the e36.
Put 60 more miles on the new sti setup. Probably wouldn't wanna daily a car like that.
Warshed the car, tailed by 2 lakeville cops on separate occasions this afternoon, was just out for a slow drive in the sun, drove home sad, thinking of selling/painting wheels.

I looked at the rabbitvertible sitting in it's storage shed. Was going to drive it but didn't. Then I helped my sister in law's BF change her Passat's oil and put the summer wheels back on (but mainly just sat in a helicopter and made helicopter noises while he worked).
Yesterday I replaced the rear subframe mounts on my Audi 4000 with aluminum ones. While I had it all apart I also replaced most of the rubber mountings for the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel accumulator. Sadly during the process I angered the accumulator and it started leaking so it got deleted.
Didn't have enough time to throw the car on the alignment rack when I got it done so I had to do a DIY eye-balled alignment today, which required a lot of propane torching and liquid wrench. Also had to replace a tie rod boot as it was torn beyond belief.
Busy weekend for me..
Went for a mini cruise with some buddies down to stillwater. Drove the shit out of the rabbit, and got many compliments on the rabbit by some harley guys. Win.
Went to replace Lauren's hood latch with one I bought from a forum member here, realized that was bent and broken way worse than hers was, so I ended up rebuilding the one that she had currently. With some adjustment her hood now closes again.
This Friday I need to replace my DV and cam follower, yay.

Yanked the bumpers off. The rear is salvageable but the front is bent, along with the bumper shocks. Not sure where I want to go with the bumper situation at this point but I don't want to put the stock parts back on nor do I particularly want to run bumperless. May get creative. Dunno.

Alignment on Friday to fix the "steering wheel offcenter" problem that came from swapping the rack.
Cleaned up after a little wild life interaction.
