I would do this more than once if it were organized.

I'll probably do it more than once, but for a smaller group. But one big one.

I agree with Jes. Is there a certain date the pre-reg will be done by? I just want to get drunk with Jon this year and listen to him talk about the gypsies down the hill haha

I'd be game as well, plus the girlfriend is constantly wanting to go camping so this would be a nice way to kill two birds with one stone.

William O'brien is a fun park and pretty close, and you can do the canoe trip from Taylor's Falls down to William O'Brien.

Edit: Though the problem with State Parks is the alcohol ban.

Edit #2: Gotta love Wisconsin though: With a few exceptions, people of legal drinking age may bring alcoholic beverages along for their picnic or campsite meals in Wisconsin state parks and forests.

There is no set date yet. There is no date for pre-reg opening or closing yet. There is no set campground yet. There is no planned drive yet.

I'll let you all know what and when I come up with it.

Yep. I was responding to Jess' comment about smaller less planned camping events, and just pointing out some ideas.

I didn't even read your post, because it didn't look like you were asking when it was or if pre-reg was open yet.

one of the reasons we did it there, is the close proximity to some of the most beautiful roads for driving in the midwest.
