Okay, so I will make a thread I guess.
I have a 96' M3, which has a built S52 and had an RMS stage 2 supercharger setup and Tec3r standalone. I am replacing the supercharger setup with a custom turbo setup based around a Precision 6262 cbb, billet turbo and a custom manifold.
at first:
Then, off with the supercharger bits and all of that. Removed the RMS stuff, turner headers, active track pipe, etc.
Oh, bought a set of Kinesis K18 wheels (pre-Lexani buyout)
Pulling motor and removing excess wiring that is not needed with the standalone and the few components I run.
traction control motor - out
Burned up friction disk on active autowerk flywheel. DAMNIT. Need to buy another or find a friction disk.
Alternator is shot because it had large bugs in it that fused some shit together...
Crusty/kick ass motor in crusty engine bay...... not for long!
Motor out. Note ported head. yay.
Thrashed active autowerk clutch. haha i cant imagine why!!?!?!! lol.
Fucked up engine bay. Waiting for grinder and welder....
Turbo arrives!
Then, I pulled the Sunbelt cams, cam trays and head off of the car and then covered them in oil and bagged them and stored them for safe keeping until reassembly.
Yummy
And that is where I am at right now. Doing a clutch in a Hyandai, so the M3 waits another day for work..
I am currently welding the engine bay (myself), shaving all of the holes, seam welding all of the body seams and smoothing stuff before it gets repainted. Pics of that soon.
: D
